In March 2011, 20 FBI agents stormed the game however Molly Bloom was visiting family in Colorado and of course was nowhere near that poker game.  The FBI still knew she was involved and wanted to talk to her about her involvement in the illegally organised poker games.

It wasn’t until 2013 that Molly Bloom was arrested as part of the gambling ring for hosting illegal poker games but never received any jail time.  She was given a fine said to be $125,000 and received probation instead while some players did actually receive prison time for their roles.

It is rumoured that Molly Bloom made over $1 million hosting these poker games and even has a book which was published back in 2014 labelled “Molly’s Game: High Stakes, Hollywood’s Elite, Hotshot Bankers, My Life in the World of Underground Poker” WOW, what a title!!!  You can buy this in E-book form from Amazon or a hard copy from Angus & Robertson or BookDepository.com

In any case this will be one fascinating movie and with Aaron Sorkin directing it should be brilliant to watch.
